Welcome to Sileby Methodist church: a friendly congregation serving God through worship, prayer and service to the community.

We enjoy both traditional and contemporary Sunday worship, welcoming Ministers and Local Preachers from around the circuit and enjoying the gifts of our Lay Pastor, Rob Newton. We also benefit from the musical talents of our own pianist and guitarist.

Sileby Methodist Church strives to:

• Provide a warm, welcoming, attractive and comfortable place where people can meet, worship, learn about and experience the love of God.
• Provide a modern, attractive and flexible place where church and community groups may meet.
• Welcome and seek guidance from the Holy Spirit to work in the Sileby community.
• To do these things in partnership with other churches and organisations in Sileby village.

Most Sundays, 10.30am-11.30am, church service. We offer a friendly service with live music, videos and activities all suitable for young families, parents and toddlers and anyone who is young at heart. Please check the calendar to see what service is on this week.

Every Tuesday 10.30am- 12.30pm, Joy of Music: Listen, play, learn and chat. Pop in and improve your mental health through music.

Every Thursday, 10am-12pm, it's our coffee morning. Join us for tea, coffee, tea cakes and conversation.

Every Thursday, 1pm-3pm, it's the Sileby wellbeing hub. Free to attend (18+ only), come along to play board games, practice arts and crafts, mindfulness, quizzes and to meet new people.

Every 4th Sunday of the month, 7pm-9pm, it's Cafe Live. Join us for a regular open mic event with a coffee bar. A relaxed evening of good music, soft drinks, hot pasties and a warm welcome.

Bookings

The hall, coffee lounge and kitchen are available to book. The chapel can be booked for an additional fee of £10 per session. Please check the calendar for availability.

A one-off hire costs £50 for a minimum of 3 hours, £15 per extra hour thereafter with a deposit of £50. One off hire is only available on weekends (not including Sunday mornings).

Repeat bookings (minimum of 4 hours per month) are charged at £15 per hour, with a deposit of £100. This is available throughout the week.

Please note: alcohol is not permitted on site, carpets may not be suitable for some events and parking is not always available, although there is a free car park in the village and at the nearby Memorial park. Further terms and conditions can be found in the booking contract.
